These beautiful art cards / postcards are reproduced from the serigraphs that I print on fine art paper. The cards are a delicious 15 point stock with a satin finish. They are printed using offset lithography for rich lasting color. Each card measure 4.25" x 5.5" and is shipped in a cello sleeve in a no-bend mailer. Great for hanging, mailing, or trading. You can use it like a postcard and write on the back with a fine tipped Sharpie or similar pen.
The scene is of a boy pushing a wheel barrel full of teetering bird cages. Birds escape and the tower of cages hang precariously in an eternal silhouette. This image is actually reminiscent of a childhood experience of mine - pushing a wheel barrel full of looted wood from a near by construction site down the street to be used for my tree house. My childhood friends and I used an old wheelbarrow to stack the supplies for the treehouse in while in route from the construction site to the tree house. The stack would often reach heights well above our heads. We saw the tree house as our escape from our homes; thus, I have the birds escaping from their cages.
