I first created this design when my daughter was very young. On occasions when the moon was bright, I would take her in the back yard and hold her up to the sky for a moonlight bath. I flew her around the yard like this while enjoying the sounds of her infantile laughter. As a parent, I felt the desire, as I'm sure all parents do, to lift my child away from whatever dangers dwell on the earth below. Thus, the metaphor for this feeling was born in the image 'Escape'.
